INWL Podcast: Curtis Pote

Today we sat down with Officer Curtis Pote who recently competed in the American Lung Association Fight For Air Climb.  The event is a grueling race up three buildings, with a combined total of 66 floors.  Curtis finished 3rd out of over 900 competitors.

Curtis is a police officer, having served for over 15 years.  When he isn’t protecting and serving and being a dad, he finds time to compete in many interesting races.  This year was his third competing in the Fight For Air Climb.  Last year during the Special Olympics Torch Run, he decided to run the full marathon on a whim.  We discuss this, as well as his plans to run in the upcoming Twin Cities Tough Mudder.  For more information on Curtis, his training and upcoming events, please visit his website

Below is our interview with Curtis.  It is 6 minutes and 13 seconds, so give it a listen.  If you have ideas for people to interview, let us know.  We want to talk to people who do cool things, whether it be their job or their passion or both.
